“Two stories of Pilvi”

A movie with two fictional stories of a girl who is going to seventh grade at school.

Genre is a tragic comedy, where the same actors play the same rolls in both stories. In the first story are parents irresponsible and provides Pilvi only food, clothes and housing, but are not interested in her other needs. In the second part are parents responsible and fills all her needs.

The idea is to show the contrast between these two ways of behavior and the outcome they cause. The movie is not judging or commenting neither of the stories, but instead leaves the decision to the spectator.

The purpose of the movie is to bring up thoughts about parenthood. When is parenthood responsible, and when not? Is it society´s responsibility to parent children or is up to parents? How does responsible parenting act out in reality?
